SEAMLESS RESINOUS FLOOR
Traditional flooring systems produce gaps and joints when installed, which then become the weakest part of the floor and allows dirt and bacteria to harbor. Building owners and managers often agree that joints are their biggest, most expensive problem when dealing with their current flooring system.
The seamless resinous flooring systems are liquid applied and cured in place.The product functionality and aesthetics are determined by the resin chemistry, the aggregates and the application techniques. The system designs provide a fantastic flexibility to accommodate any decor or industry. Some systems utilize resins with extremely fast cure cycles, reducing the down time. Other systems are designed specifically for hospital or educational environments using flexible resins to provide a sound damping and resilient finish similar to rubber.
Most manufacturers of resinous floor systems utilize environmentally friendly, low VOC chemistry, qualifying for LEED® and Green Globes® material and air quality credits.
